Please meet Ernie T. Eagle, the official mascot of Soar Wealth Strategies. Ernie was “born” on April 4, 2022, from the vision and dream of founders Jon Schuetz and Brent Connelly when they decided to build a different kind of financial services company.
A Vision Takes Flight
When Jon and Brent founded Soar Wealth Strategies, they had a clear vision: create a company where clients truly come first and where comprehensive financial planning is at the heart of everything they do.
They also wanted their brand to reflect something important to both of them—their love of country and the values of hard work, dedication, and service.
The eagle was a natural choice.
For Jon, patriotism has an especially personal meaning. Both of his sons serve in the United States Air Force, making the eagle an even more meaningful symbol of his family's commitment to serving our country.
For Brent, that connection runs through his family history. His grandfather received a Purple Heart for his service during World War II and was a tremendous influence in Brent's life. The values of courage, sacrifice, and perseverance that Brent learned from his grandfather continue to influence the way he approaches his work and his commitment to clients.
And that's how Ernie came to be.
The Philosophy Behind the Eagle
Proudly displayed in the Soar Wealth Strategies Omaha office is a quote from former President of India A.P.J. Abdul Kalam:
“All birds find shelter during a rain. But eagle avoids rain by flying above the cloud. Problems are common, but attitude makes the difference.”
That quote perfectly captures the philosophy behind Soar Wealth Strategies.
Life doesn't always go according to plan. Markets fluctuate. Unexpected expenses happen. Retirement dates change. Families grow and circumstances evolve.
